Giacomo Nizzardo, Künstler, geboren 1971, lebt und arbeitet in der Schweiz.
"Die freie Meinungsäusserung ist etwas das mir sehr gefällt. Das verbindet verschiedene Mentalitäten. Ich will mit meinen Bildern keine Religionen, Völker oder irgend welche Gesellschaften beleidigen. Meine Leidenschaft und Emotionen male ich auf die Leinwand. Ich wurde als Sohn einer sizilianischen Einwanderfamilie geboren und katholisch erzogen. Was mich bewegt, sind verschiedene Religionen und Völker. In meinen Bildern entstehen auch religiöse Darstellungen mit Alltagskultur. Körperschmuck, Tattoo und Bodypainting sind bei gewissen Völker Symbole oder Amulette. Ich lese und schaue gerne Bilderbücher. Dokumentationen über verschiedene Kulturen interessieren mich sehr."

Giacomo Nizzardo, born in 1971, that lives and works in Switzerland.
“The freedom of expression is something that I like very much. It connects different mentalities. I don’t want to offend any religion, nation or culture with my paintings. My passion and emotion I paint on the canvas. I was born the son of a Sicilian immigrant family and raised as a Catholic. What moves me are the different religions and people. In my paintings also emerges religious depictions with everyday culture. Body jewelry, tattoo and body painting are symbols or amulets in certain nations. I love reading and looking at picture books. Documentaries about different cultures interest me much.”
